Alejandro Ramirez de Arellano

I hold Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management from Bucknell University and am fascinated by how products and services can have behavioral, social, and cultural impact. 

I purposefully catered my undergraduate internship experiences to give me exposure across functional groups by starting my own service-based company, working in a marketing role for a Fortune 200 company, and leading product design engineering at an electric mobility startup. 

I've been trained in design thinking methodologies by Stanford's d.school and deeply believe in the power of combining human empathy with rigorous engineering design to create meaningful solutions to complex problems.

I'm a TED talk aficionado and a board-sports guru. I live for intellectually stimulating conversations over meals and I can't stand poor product design. If you don't find me at my desk, I'm likely on the beach with my family, in the studio jamming with the band, or cooking up an exquisite meal for friends.
